If they weren’t huge TV watching fans, I wouldn’t care their TV is as old as the hills but they watch it all day long. They follow their local news in the morning, Wheel of Fortune in the daytime and then The Late Show at night all on their 80s television.

I wish they would realize what a nicer television could do for them. It’s not as if they don’t have money either. They were successful their entire lifetime.

They made good money, provided everything we ever craved and they were fit to withdraw early. I just feel that since they made so many sacrifices for us it’s time they spend some of their money in their own enjoyment.

HD televisions are not that expensive in relation to numerous added things in life. They could buy one for a few thousand dollars and they wouldn’t even miss it.

I have taken them to Ulimate Electronics a few times to show them the new HDTV and HD pictures on them. They are both impressed and sometimes it takes a while for me to get them out of the HDTV area.

They are in awe, which is why I know they would love it if they had one. I am not saying they should pitch out their old TV because a part of me thinks they have an emotional connection to it.

They could always move it to the other room and even watch it if one of them craved to watch something different. Change is challenging, I know this, and I know they have a difficult time getting use to new stuff like HDTV.

I asked them if they would like me to buy it for them or if they would be mad if I bought it for them as a gift. They denied both and said they don’t need a new tv and to stop talking about it.

Several weeks after they said this to me, their television finally shot craps. They considered getting it worked on but then broke down and bought an HDTV.
Would you believe they called me and said they should have bought it years ago?

They said the HD picture was out of this world and they
have no idea how they dealt with the old one for so long. I didn’t tell them, “I told you so” but I certainly was thinking it. They now watch their new HDTV as they did before but with a whole new
appreciation.

This means that the sitcom will be returning on air in April and I couldn’t be any more happier. I am not only happy the sitcom is coming back but I also have a nice new HDTV that I cannot wait to try out on The Office. A few weeks ago, my tiny old 19 inch gave out and I knew it was time to take a shift into the 21st century by finding a shiny new HDTV.

All of my friends have been on my case trying to get me to buy a newer television but I never saw the necessity for it since my 19 inch was perfectly acceptable enough for my taste. I would have to pay my cable provider company more money a month! As if I do not pay enough money as it
is and now after forking out a grand on th television, I will have to pay even more per month. Instead of just succumbing to the realisation that I would just have to deal with paying for it, I went online to see if there was a way around it.

I am so glad I did because I found antennas that will find the signals I get from my cable provider company. I was stupefied to see the antennas were not a ton of money so I purchased one. Anyway, I am looking forward to watching The Office on my new television. Maybe Jim and Pam will get hitched, probably not.

Whom I love the best is Michael on the program because he reminds me so much of my old supervisor. It’s awesome how many of things that proceed out of his mouth sounds a lot like something he would say. Not only that, a lot of the stuff he says is such a shock that you just can’t help but laugh.

Now that I have a new television to view and many new shows starting up, I just know that it’s going to be the best TV watching experience I have had in a really long time.
